Gloucestershire Constabulary are recruiting an ESP Coordinator work within the Citizens in Policing (CiP) department. CiP are Special Constables, Police Support Volunteers, and Volunteer Police Cadets, all of whom are directly managed and supported by the force. The term also recognises those individuals who volunteer with organisations who are closely aligned to policing and work in partnership with forces at a local level. The ESP Coordinator will work to the Special Constabulary Sergeant and will be responsible for reviewing existing ESP agreements with the Constabulary’s Special Constable primary employers, identifying external partners and organisations to promote the national ESP scheme to in order to enable the Constabulary to promote the profile of volunteering and increase its SC establishment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team in a brand new role to help shape and deliver the Constabulary’s approach to CiP across the county. We are especially interested in receiving applications from candidates with experience of working with volunteers who have an experience of delivering presentations to stakeholders at a senior level. The standard place of work will be Cirencester, however, this role allows for flexible working hours by local agreement with a blend of office based and remote/ home working.

This is a Fixed Term Contract for 18 months.
