Gloucestershire Constabulary are recruiting a Programme Lead focused on developing and delivering new youth led activity in support of the wider Citizens in Policing (CiP) department. CiP are Special Constables, Police Support Volunteers, and Volunteer Police Cadets, all of whom are directly managed and supported by the force. The term also recognises those individuals who volunteer with organisations who are closely aligned to policing and work in partnership with forces at a local level. The Programme Lead (Youth) will work to the CiP Manager and will be responsible for reviewing existing business areas involving children and young people, as well as developing new youth led initiatives including; Police Cubs, Junior Wardens, Mini Police and a force wide Work Experience programme across the county, all as part of the wider CiP offer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team in a brand new role to help shape and deliver the Constabulary’s approach to CiP across Gloucestershire. We are especially interested in receiving applications from candidates with experience of working with children and young people and building core business relationships with partners and strong community links. If you have any questions regarding this role please email; CitizensinPolicing@Gloucestershire.pnn.police.uk
