At Gloucestershire Constabulary our approach to our people is at the heart of the way in which we lead and enable our teams to deliver outstanding service to the public of Gloucestershire. Our ‘one team’ approach recognises that we are ‘better together’; diverse, representative and inclusive where every member of our team feels valued for their individual difference and contribution.

We aim to be an ‘employer of choice’ by creating an environment where all of our staff are recognised for the work they do and for the difference that they make to the public every single day. We want our staff to choose to work for Gloucestershire Constabulary and to feel proud and confident that they are joining a forward thinking, supportive organisation with a strong sense of history and tradition.

We are now looking to recruit a Head of Gloucestershire Constabulary’s Analysis, Research and Planning. This is a key senior leadership role which is evolving alongside the Constabulary’s approach to organisational development. As Head of Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the Constabulary’s performance framework and business planning cycle are fit for purpose and are best prepared for external inspection programmes. The Head of Analysis, Research and Planning will also be responsible for developing the Constabulary’s approach to demand management, continuous improvement and innovation. As a leader you will be expected to advise and influence the strategic decision making of Chief Officers and Senior Police Staff leaders.

If you are a supportive leader, with high standards and a strong commitment to inclusivity we want to hear from you.

Details of the requirements of the role are available on the linked role profile.  If you would like an informal discussion to find out more about the role, please contact Resourcing who will forward your request.
